Clashing Color Scheme

I cannot be
both red and green.
I am not
a Christmas theme.
I love long maroon
soft, loose sweaters
and flattering
cherry-colored
boat neck tops
that compliment
my contours.
Shades of emerald
and moss green
make me happy
on me, and in
my classroom.
The colors thrive
away from each other,
like competing siblings
in Kindergarten.
They inspire me with thought.
Now, I am ready to write
poetry.
