Clarity

CLARITY of a moment
so ever short
is what chanced
to visit this day
it did not knock
or ring its presence
should I complain,
it has its own ways

Upon a trembling surface,
clearly my eyes
all formality and pomposity
it stripped away
laying bare the simplicity
of all humanity
love, beauty, vulnerability
-- I could not bear
