Knowing the future
What a redundant effort
When it stays the same
Like your favorite color,
Some things you can never change

We must wonder about this... Could the past be changed if we knew and could go back in time? Hmm... Something deep to think about. Your poem makes one ponder the possibilities....

My explanation is the above - if you knew your future in which your favorite color was green, could you really change it to pink for the sake of new future? Sure, you could lie to yourself, but deep inside green would still be the one - so the answer to changing the future lies in changing your favorite color :)
