I was in Pensacola, FL when this happened. I couldn't go fishing anymore, and the summer was still new. I thought I would die. My passion is fishing. Thank You for this Haiku, Dr. Ncube. Truth be told!!!

I believe this is closer to a senryu than haiku. However, it is descriptive in its telling of the recent catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico.
