Claim of Warmth

claim of warmth

Westward bound the swirls of white, the hale striking, flakes given white. The birth of winter, once again, blinding blanket, hitting with the wind.

Bird once colored with lust, now concealing, the pride of feather trust. The sheet continues its demanding, earth changing, frost deicing the land.

Grief given, once again, renewed calling, the claim of warmth, trusted friend, sun shining, come again. The glittering wonder, I miss you my friend.
