Civil Twilight
I don't know why nobody noticed the sleep in themselves.
The mirror in our reflection keeps on growing.
I don't know that at night,so I leave it at noon.
I'll never know its purpose.
Keep searching and you'll soon know.
Locked doors are following behind you.
They won't tell you why.
Maybe they are too close for escape and too far for staying.
You won't break their locks.
Just how much night is in you?
You'll keep running from behind you.
You're collapsing deep in the void you've lost.
Are you like me or am I like you?
The mirror in you reflects the keys to those doors.
It's 9:00 leading nowhere,another broken clock.
No one to see until tomorrow.
And yet the day is well near you.
We come out in the night so we speak in the day.
I don't know paradox.
But paradox knows you.
Are we empty?Would you walk those paths?
With the mirror in you,you can't ignore locked doors.
We have come undone inside a broken mirror.
Glass shards of epoch has torn the resonance deep within you.
A stranger of me but not you.
At last.
