I've been walking through these streets avoiding seeing how many of these houses are faded their blues turning to grayish white the elderly faces sunk in the dry gardens gates that squeal thin puppies the death of the city is flagrant most buildings and stores to rent and to sell I stop at ugly corners seeinghearing i'm hungry i have cancer five dish towels five bucks so I accelerate over the potholes of the avenue scaring away drunks and homeless people how good is the shopping center there yes it seems true to live
