City of Angels

I’ll visit the City of Angels some day, I don’t know when, but I know this time will come. “Don’t worry, sinner, I won’t lead you astray!” I’ll only dare to ask, “Is it God’s Kingdom?” But my winged guardian will shook his bright head, “You came to the City of Angels, a nice place. Here every chapter of your life must be read, It’s not easy at all to deserve divine grace…” I’ll be terrified, and I’ll be very sad For some pages of my book were impure. “Angel, I prayed and fasted, I’m not so bad, Let me explain it to you and assure…” “Oh, poor, lost soul! Nothing is still determined, Beg the Lord to be merciful and gracious. Do you want to follow people who questioned? No? So believe strongly. Don’t be so hopeless!” And my friend with wings will show me many ways, Many possible roads I may take to the Lord. Then I’ll leave the City of Angels, the nice place, To find joy and peace with God I loved and adored…
