City Forest

City Forest

T’would be a forest in another time,
These days it shelters just one;
Riotous messenger it blows in the breeze,
Then quietly with reverie, leaves us alone.

Life is decided in this dawn of the morn,
Death invited to be a friend,
But no, not yet, neath your lovely leaves,
This little remnant has not met its end.

Thank you so much Paloma. I thought I had thanked you before, but it doesn't show. You're very kind.
