City City

city, city
how can this be?
my hair a mess
lips stick missing

everyday I wake
I wish to be in bed.

My worst days are those I approach
moments ahead.

The City can eat you alive, so go on and eat as much of it as you can. Sometimes I just want to sink too, but my heart jumps too much. Good psychology. J.A.B.

So right you are Sandy...I get up two hours before I go to work, giving me plenty of time to grumble, mumble and moan...Hey, you look familiar, weren't you in a movie or something?...May I have your autograph? It's for my daughter...

Aww...sad...I liked the verse though. Too much in the city life can be deplorable. Time to get ome fresh air. Like the smile at the end. :) Always, Laura
