Circus Paradise
Down the river where the children play
Swimming splashing all the day
I used to remember my past
How time could have changed too fast
Down the city when there were only few lights
Now the city has turned wild like a circus night
I must have gone too long
Things change like something has gone wrong
Where those pretty people go
Where they used to wave, they used to smile at me
Where are the candy shop and the theatre?
When we would stand in line to watch the new show
I feel like being in a bunker too long
Leaving this town and hiding for nothing
I remembered my first love
Now it’s gone and I wasted my time in regret
Now it’s like a ghost town
People walking like zombies, doing their business
No trees with leaves just buildings everywhere
Just memories of beautiful past I remembered about this place
All gone….
Nothing’s left behind
No more love….
In this crowded town
All flushed….
Beneath these new faces
No more peacefulness….
When your town has turn into a circus paradise
