Circling the Drain
I don't agree with it at all.
A grand heart and good deeds
hold no weight -are not part the equation.
This scale is unbalanced and highly flawed.
So, you're telling me that you can be
a filthy devil for your entire earthly life...
wreak havoc on community and all mankind.
Then upon the death breath accept Jesus-ask for forgiveness.
Then everything's alright?
Seems this soul would be cutting to the front of the line -
slipping saint Peter, the golden Jesus ticket
then simply slithering through the pearly gates...
while the souls of Mother Theresa and Dali lama circle the drain.
