Circling Back

Finding myself writing one day, I had something curious to say. Because what I had done, Was done quite for fun. I felt that I needed to play. So as I am often so drab, And never accused of being a cad. I set out to find, Someone who wouldn’t mind. Hanging out with me just a tad. Driving fast out of town on gravel roads, Watching out for some very large toads. We followed the sun, From the cops we did run. And oh how we did laugh loads. Hours after the sun had set, We stopped at a bar and our whistles we wet. Then we started back, Intending to hit the sack. On the cops giving up we had bet. Doing ninety we saw a deer with a big rack, And when we hit quite a punch it did pack. Sadly some cops had just seen, Our car that was lime green. And they decided to circle back.
