Circle of Strife

Long ago, lost to memory, we
Questioned morality in its test to time.
Boldly seeking justice, as if
    Reality was masquerading as crime.

Youthful energy could be sculpted,
With a stature of faith and belief.
While righting those prior wrongs,
Uplifting those broken by pain & grief.

Through time this apparent cycle,
Creates another new generation to fight.
As former children now test their adult
Voices, to burden that wrong, and make it right.
