Circle of Love and Heartbreak
I ponder about this man
who is the object of my affections
the giver of these deceptions
felt we had a connection
as we sort thru unanswered questions
was i rite about my selection?
being thrown n a dreams protection
cause reality can be so unkind
it becomes abusive to the mind
I was feeling him for a time
remember the day he caught my eye
a mouthpiece i couldn't deny
as his words became alive
sent shivers down my spine
is he the one? is it a sign?
or the prelude n the making
to an ending thus heartbreakn
felt as tho it was me he was takin
to altitudes so high
then sends me crashing with his lies
i say i wont get caught up this time
not wit your deep voice or your sultry rhymes
not wit those mysterious eyes so alluring
not wit your deep words so reassuring
not wit that laugh of yours that i always seem 2 think of
not wit the possibility it could of been love
i wont fall again
so lonely is what ill be
need to know he didn't get the best of me
n my solitude im ok
then one day u call, it all goes array
i begin to reminisce, especially about the time that we kissed
n its you i once again miss
something i just cant dismiss
sends my well being n a spin
then the process starts all ova again
