Cinquain V

water murmurs softly, through the cool of exhaled breath, against the stones it whispers, secrets secrets, gently spoken, lonely unbeckoned words, hidden deep within broken hearts, aching aching, melting sorrow pours viscous and endless, caressing emotions that hide within within this emptiness sprouts the seed of desire, where blooms love’s flower, bathed in sweet water

Wow. Amazing. I like this form. This looks fun. I love your verses. It all comes full circle. Sometimes we need to empty ourselves to come whole. Like the the death of every winter, and birth of every spring.

Beautifully said Andi, a Cinquain can be written in two styles, classic which this one generally follows, and modern. Classic is 5 lines with specific syllable count per line, modern uses word count. This one is constructed with four Cinquain using the last word of the previous one to start the new one. Each one should be able to stand on its own as an independent poem and the the first and last line should refer back to the title if there is one.
