Chutes and Ladders

Chutes and Ladders, Monopoly
   Candyland and Bingo
       One-two-three!

Risk and Careers and
   How about Charades?
Scrabble and Password
   Venerable Word Parades!

The youthful pursuits of
   An Innocent Age
Eating Hostess Twinkies
   And drinking Kool-Aid!

What a cool poem! Refreshing , really lovely! Every phase we pass in life imprints memories, my grandfather used to say to me that if he closed his eyes and thought of his whole live, it would flash by in minutes! I so enjoyed this poem Gershon. Best wishes, Jennifer.

Thank you so much, Jennifer. Truth be told, I was waiting and hoping for a reaction just like yours!! It was meant to be a fun, 'refreshing' little poem. Much appreciated. :) gw

Memories... Like the corners of my mind... Misty water-colored memories...

The perfect song to take us all back to that innocent time. Really does bring a tear to my eye, Line. Appreciated! :) gw
