Christmas Visions
Where is Christmas?
Where oh where is Christmas?
my favorite time of year
Christmas lights and falling snow
home-baked goodies as we
watch the cheer from streets below-
But now is Summertime
and I can only dream
so I will close my eyes
and imagine a winter scene-
In my mind the fire is crackling
and presents underneath the tree
with family and friends and all those I hold dear
we laugh and love
good tidings and great cheer!
So Christmas please come soon
please do not be late
for it is now only July
and I can hardly wait-
