Christmas Time

When you hear the bells at Christmas time
Ringing from the forest trees
Those who are listening could hear the sound
But too dark to see
The animals were calling
But fear would grab the feet
A voice would call
Stand tall y’all and answer the call
Before you fall.

Christmas is not a time to fear
Because Christ is near
And He love you dear
Still fear would come for some
And some will cheer
Christ is born on that day
Far, far away, yet He is near
So open your hearts and cheer
And He will come near
Removing there fear, Wiping tears
Coming to heal
With the word of His mouth
Peace on earth, good-will to all mankind!
