Christmas Tears

CHILDREN ARE HAPPY AT CHRISTMAS

FOR THEM IT’S A TIME OF GREAT JOY

AND MOM BRINGS LOTS OF NICE PRESENTS

TO EACH LITTLE GIRL AND BOY

FOR I AM JUST ONE LITTLE BOY

WHO WON’T GET A TOY

MY MOM CAN’T BUY ME A NICE PRESENT

OR A CHRISTMAS TREE

THIS WORLD IS HARD FOR SOME PEOPLE

ESPECIALLY A POOR CHILD LIKE ME

I AM JUST A POOR LONELY CHILD

IN A WORLD GOD MADE FOR US ALL

WHY SHOULD FEW LIVE IN RICHES

WHEN OTHERS HAVE NOTHING AT ALL?

MILLIONS ARE SPENT ON

GREAT WEAPONS THAT COULD END IT ALL MUCH TOO

SOON

OH HOW I WISH THAT ON THIS HOLY CHRISTMAS

MEN WILL GIVE UP THIS VANITY

AND START HELPING CHILDREN LIKE ME.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
