Christmas Tears

Its that time of year again,
The time of the year that I dread.
Its suppose to be about family and friends,
Instead it's all about what others can get.
But for me I just sit in a corner rocky back and forth,
My christmas tears streaming down my face.
No one is paying attention to the pain I am feeling.
Because once again I was forgotten,
Another holiday comes and goes.
This slave isn't even a thought of,
My Christmas tears is like the Grinch with a small heart.
my heart is turning to coal,
My tears are black representing my soul.
My Christmas tears are every year.
Always forgotten,
Not even a thought of.
I am a Christmas tear like the Grinch that stole Christmas.

Dear Donna..here is a hug and some lights of love to wrap around your poetic Soul. Christmas seems to push al, our buttons. Mine, too. Lots of its meaning is gone. Once you discover its meaning for you~ like the Phoenix, you will rise from the ashes.
