Christmas Spirit
For some Christmas spirit will be grand, many gifts under the tree's bright lights. The smell of fresh baked cookies filling the air, the hot oven warming my cold body.
Christmas spirit and singing carolers, music with song filling the night air. Walking down the snow covered streets, giving smiles to all we meet.
For some Christmas spirit will not be grand, working hard but short on cash. This year gifts will need to wait, only food is on the shopping list.
I can only dream about Christmas spirit, the year when it will all be very special. When everyone can experience, the grand Christmas spirit in every home.
