Christmas Poem
Christmas is the time of year
For all the wonderful joy and cheer.
Buying gifts can be hard
So that’s why I just give them a card.
But presents are all kids think about
If kids didn’t receive what they want they will pout.
We all need to understand
Something wonderful that happened in a different land.
A long time ago in the Middle East,
Where people made their bread without yeast,
Our little Savior was born
In the very early morn.
You see Christmas isn’t all about a toy,
It’s about the birth of a baby boy.
I wish we could all go back in time
And punish whoever created poems that rhyme.
But also to see this amazing happening
That could leave everyone baffling.
All this rhyming is very tiring
And I hope this poem was very inspiring.
Did it give Christmas’ true meaning to you
I hope so because once Christmas is over you’ve got some cleaning to do!
