Christmas Party
Wit moves ritual
In ample flair,
Jest frames ample
As cheer now airs.
Sunday funds spills
As party plays,
A time to feel
What Christmas says.
A fond time here
To greet and touch,
A hundred cheers
With food fare much.
Happy each face
In glimpses fond,
Love can embrace
As kinship bonds.
Each year tells fun
To come around,
Smiles leap and run
On earthly grounds.
We catchup well
With news galore,
Seize joy that tells
Of love plus more.
The party mood
Feels noisy here,
Yet poise knows good
In easy cheer.
Chit-chat goes round
As questions fit,
Watch feisty sounds
Attest fond bits.
If you must know
The way you feel,
Warmth shines a glow
In festive spills.
Mahjong fits squeeze:
North, South, East, West...
Wins like a breeze,
Feeds a fine fest.
Words cannot tell
What kinship means,
For here we dwell
On touching scenes.
So once again,
Fate flavours fest;
We purge odd pain,
Live our sure best.
We party long
Till late night hours,
Feel bonding strong
Both yours and ours.
Confucius wrote:
A feast most grand
Lasts till end vote
For kin and friends.
These are the times
That tell of each,
Such happy chimes
Within our reach.
Thank you for spice
To feel hearts dance,
A party prize:
A Christmas chance.
Your meeting here
Made this day grand,
Be of good cheer
To live fine trends.
