Notes About The Poem

Christmas Morning

He
Could not
Wait until
Morning sunshine
Barefoot and in his pajamas, ruffled
Hair, eyes shining brilliantly, laid before
Unwrapped train set
Under the
Christmas
Tree.

Sounds like I was and in turn how our son was, couldn't sleep woke up about 4 o'clock and ran downstairs - sure enough Santa had been! Great memories you are bringing up Eve, Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.
