Christmas Love

sleepily
I cozy up in my blanket
and stare at our Christmas tree
you sleep next to me exhausted
your even breathing is my song
and calm
my hand on your chest finds your
strong even heartbeat
I lay my head

Such a beautiful poem with great imagery... I am staring at my Christmas tree with 500 lights on it... priceless sight... out of respect to the poets who were hurt by a fellow poet I am abiding by their wishes not to reveal his derogatory comments but I have printed out their Soup Mails in case it continues... I don't expect it will.. thankxxx for your comments on my poetry.. appreciated... I have answered Catie with this information also... blessings... luv...
