Christmas Lie
Before Christmas,
His words flew like shoppers on a three-day-sale.
Growing flowers on my mind,
He said he will give me a card,
A red rose for his flaming love,
And a Christmas date for the both of us.
On Christmas,
His words came like presents wrapped with glitters,
Too shiny for a mere man to make.
As its cover was torn,
The inside struck like a sharp blade.
My heart bleed when I saw the empty space.
