Christmas Is To Remember

When my kids were in school and had Christmas parties in the same day,same week… They made lots of crafts and boy did they eat… While my two youngest had fun doing what they love to do… Getting into most anything they were told not to.. A fellow parent asked me,”Where’s their grandparents?”… “Since my oldest child had a party it just made more sense..” “They get to spend time with the two little ones…””so I can be here to share in my daughters fun..” I politely explained to her “they live out of town and far away…” To which she replied,”they do too but they make a way to come to town to help when I have to be away…” Then in that moment it “hit me” how true she was in saying that line.. Because when God tosses my very last dime… I can rest assured either way that I’ve done all that I can… To make memories with 3 future women and my 1 soon to be grown man.
