Christmas Is Coming

Christmas is coming

But I am not humming
Gifts are being bought and adverts are starting strumming

Not for me though

Because I see the holy tree and I see the folly
So does anyone else here want my brolly

What is it we all want
Other than just another font

Baby Jesus here you lie, and yes you also died
But please don’t tell us any lies

You died to save us, yes you did
But that wasn’t my gig

I live and breathe the Easter story
But not on my watch anymore as you ignored me at the door

Where is my Mum and where is my Dad
How do you square all that?
