Christmas Happiness
What would make me happy
this time of the year
is if all the soldiers could come home
to their loved ones so dear.
And I would like that pink ribbon
to mean we've found a cure
so our sweet friends and daughters
wouldn't have that to endure.
And while we're at it let's end disease
and every kind of cancer
and let the ones wiser than me
at long last find the answer.
Hunger too,and homelessness
could we please do away with,
no more bullies,lonely old folks
all have family to stay with.
It's alot to ask for this is true
but could every soul find love
and when they're feeling down and out
reach for the heavens above.
All these things would make me happy
this joyous Christmas season;
why it can't start with us each one
there really is no reason.
