Christmas Haiku

There's energy
excitement in the air
wonderful sensations

Nor'easter struck
leaving a foot
of white snow

Merry Christmas
spoken with glee
amidst the stars

Shoppers galore
at malls
bustling about

Houses lit up
various colors
brightens night

Cool, crisp eve
moon glazing
beams bright

Santa making his rounds
high above in sleigh
laughing happily

Children waiting
anxious to sleep
look forward to tomorrow

The Birth of Christ
revolutionized the earth
brought faith, hope

I love that you added the true meaning of Christmas in the final stanza :) Very beautiful, scenic, descriptive poem. Well done, Frank. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
