Christmas Gift
Do you love people?
Really really love them
See them for who they really are
And not what they portrait
Do you love them with all their faults
Or just love them only when they are good?
Do you see a person and can see all their inside -
Who they are and what they are feeling?
God makes us in His image
With all the faculties and capabilities
God makes us just like Him
With all the feelings and emotions
And love
To give to Him and to other human beings
So why do we go about our business
And think the world involves only us
and our mediate family
- exclude everyone else?
Our world - your world and my world
includes all of us
What affects me will affect you
And vice versa
Don't think for a minute that you can be an island
So far remote that nothing can touch ya
What affects me today will affect ya's tomorrow's
Do you see one or do you see all?
Do you know one or do you know all?
It's exclusion or inclusion
It's subtraction or addition
Do you add or do you minus?
It's a choice
Blessing or cursing
Giving or taking
Loving or forsaking
You choose
God did not forsake you
That is why He sent His son to rescue you
Me
We can only do what He does
So do, will ya?
