Christmas Eve

As the hours passed by And the days drifted away For all waiting for Santa's elves Could be one way to end Christmas eve You could grab a cookie And hold on to that ale Dancing it off To end your muddled year To bring more charm to that eve You added more glint to Christmas tree But you missed out your soul Which has been down now and then But the light of hope shines All round your home And your spirit began to wave up high Cauze you know Santa's gift will arrive
