Notes About The Poem

Christmas Calories

I’ll gross out on sweet candies, cakes and mince pies then moan, I’ve put two inches on round my thighs! Inspired by Cute couplet contest 12/20/18

Lol, such a funny poem it is and I absolutely love reading it, well similar is the case with my mother, she likes to eat chocolates and sweets and then she always complains about her weight, anyways, it is 22 December today, so I wish you a merry Christmas and a really happy new year

Made me think of that saying, a moment on the lips a lifetime on the hips, and as you get older it's harder to shake off. I try and keep the sweet junk to a minimum. Tom.

Haha... this is funny Jan, but hey ho we all deserve the odd treat at Christmas, although I too have to take care, as now have type 2. Kindest thoughts Ann xx

Hubby has type 2, he is allowed a little treat but has a blood test at the end of January and that will show just how naughty he has been. That said we have altered his diet and the dietician was so pleased she could offer no more advice. I make his sugar free flapjacks which he loves and we have lots of veg and home made soup. I can;t remember the last time I purchased a sliced loaf, he used to be a real bread addict, I am so proud of him:-)hugs jan xx
