Christmas

Christmas time is here;
Full of holiday cheer;
Yet, I long for yesteryear,
When my children all were near…
In my eggnog drips a tear.

I wish that I could vivify my comments to you and to all better. But I end up babbling and making no sense. So, I will leave you a message today letting you know I did read your poetry and I enjoyed it. I love reading poetry and the poets here are so talented. Have a wonderful day Joe. Love, Carol

Wipe up those tears and enjoy time with you young son, Joe. A very touching poem to which many empty nesters will relate. Best wishes in Francine's contest, dear friend. Love, Carolyn
