Christmas 2022
                from Bob and Lorraine.

To all our friends on Facebook
those we know
those we have not met
as time goes by its harder
to the post office to get

So this will be the first time
for our best wished on the net 
and one thing we can promise
we will not forget

The fun and laughter through the years
shared memories, and sad times too
children growing, and leaving home
the way all children do.

The Christmas Cards, the presents
and parties down the years
the fun and laughter, silly things,
and of course, the tears

The memories of family and friends
who cannot share with us this day
but they are always in our heart
in their sweet loving way

So I say again to you
with love, and tears, and sadness
remember those who went before
with celebration, and with gladness
