Christian Friends

CHRISTIAN FRIENDS Christian friends on Facebook, Christian friends at church, Christian friends I’ve talked to, Christian friends at work. Those I have heard preaching, or who testified How they met the Savior for whom He has died. Christians from the past days, saints of long ago, Each one I will see there up in heaven I know. What a great reunion that is sure to be! But above all others, JESUS I will see! Had He not been willing to come here to die, None of them I’d see there in the by and by. Nor would I be worthy to be on that shore; No, I would be banished from there ever more. Even now I struggle in life I endure, Sometimes it breeds doubting and I’m insecure. Others often tell me that they struggle, too, I still want to tell them, “I do more than you!” Still, I am so thankful for the friends who care And who will uplift me in their frequent prayer. When I get to heaven, all I know I’ll meet, But there are those special ones I want to greet. Struggles will be over, sorrows all will end— I’ll be there rejoicing with my Christian friends!
