Christ Is the Only Way
CHRIST IS THE ONLY WAY
If tomorrow churches would be gone, the Bibles all were burned,
And I had to hide from evil men wherever I would turn,
I’d thank the Lord above that my soul was still secure,
And no matter what would happen, my eternal life is sure!
And I’m proud that I know I am born again through the blood of Calvary,
And I won’t deny the Christ who died that my soul could be free.
And I’ll gladly stand up for the Lord and proclaim His word today,
Cause there is no doubt what it’s about: Christ is the only way!
From the prophets of the ages, to the martyrs tall and brave,
Across the days of history, the message has been saved:
“There is one way to heaven, it’s Jesus Christ who came,
And tomorrow, now, and yesterday He always is the same!”
These words written to “God Bless The U. S. A.”
