Christ In Christmas
The Christmas spirit illuminates the picture window of our soul
Joyful, charitable, generous, kind, and forgiving
Just like our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ
He came into this world to love, share and forgive
What is Christmas without Christ?
The Christmas spirit illustrates the light and love of Lord Jesus
Light drives away the darkness
It symbolizes hope and beginnings, knowledge and safety
Light creates a beacon for others who are out in the dark and cold
So we are asked to spread the light by being His light
The Christmas spirit indicates that hope is not lost
Hope for the downtrodden, weak and poor
Hope that ignites a spark of love and a smile of ecstasy
A ripple of happiness, joy, pleasure and satisfaction
Abounding with God's grace, peace and compassion for others
The Christmas spirit implicates that we serve others
Service without thinking of self
Service driven by God's love, generosity and charity
To please the Lord and no one else
Nothing less than sacrifice, of time and energy
The Christmas spirit invocates the very existence of God
Personified by the incarnation of Christ
A crib reminds us of the miraculous birth of Lord Jesus
A star shines to dispel every evil presence
And the Christmas spirit is revived as Christ comes alive.
