Chose Me Over The Sea
I found you on this life’s journey,
Just looking for a place that would
Make me happy.
To remove the harsh and hurtful past,
To find new purpose in life and to find true love at last.
Walking through the lonely journey,
I wondered would I ever find that
Special one that one for me.
And one day I turned to see,
Another soul walking the path like me.
He turned my way and gave me a smile
We stopped and talked for a while.
It soon became clear to me,
He was the answer to my prayers
He was sent on this path for me.
He was the love I had been praying for
He would be by my side forever more.
As we walk hand and hand by the sea
I have the love of my life and my sailor
Who chose me over the sea
