Chores

What memories and thought pools we swim in
Between two distant unreachable shores
A sandy future palmed and green
Or the rocky crags of endless chores.

Profound lines, John. We do wade through memories + thought pools. Strong opening that draws the reader in + rewards. Cheers, Brian

You grabbed me up here "What memories and thought pools we swim in" and did not release me even at the end.
