Choose Love
I am British,
You’re Russian,
Chinese or,
Perhaps European is you,
A whole world of peoples,
Ukraine in the middle,
Who are all simply people too…
A people’s leader is no longer a peoples face,
a peoples leader now brings the people disgrace,
a peoples leader lies to a peoples vote,
a peoples leader don’s the mantle, and turns the cloak…
Would that you and I could settle our country’s greedy grievances,
if we could but drink coffee, play chess and talk,
if we could but love instead of balk, but alas, in a war like world; hate is good for moral…
