Looked in the lobster tank Could not bear thinking of them possibly boiling a mother I said please choose a he I wondered if it would be like a hot tub at first cozy and relaxing, i felt sorry for my shrimp and yet i love the taste

Ah, I feel that way too when I see them in there swimming away , poor things. What we wouldn't do for a taste in our tummy at times. :)

I really do not eat them but my daughter does, and she relishes picking them out.

But...what about somebody's father??? I just let them pick without me watching at all, and I simply enjoy the taste without thinking about how it got to my plate. Liked your poem.
