Choked Out

Written By: D. Collins 1/21/26

The slow certain death has already taken hold.
In the wheat and soy bean that cannot be sold.
A bailout to farmers is but a temporary fix.
Next year will America be duplicating this?

Will cattle farmers have to streamline their stock?
In not knowing if they'll be able to sell it, or not?
It appears our problems have only just begun.
Because we won't be trading with anyone.

A self-inflicted hold will eventually choke us out.
And China will welcome our friends, without a doubt.
The Roman Empire fell because of too many fronts.
We'll see our demise by trying to take what we want.
