Choices
It tore my heart apart a time or two
Chance after chance left me to lose
It never did get any better promises to a fool
But I chose to believe bruises were tatoos
Significance in sorry led me back to you
Came from a mortar shooting blanks for clues
I can't deny, I filled them in like a context fool
Never reading between lines ignoring truth
A run on sentence every jury would conclude
Insanity was my plea losing to a goon
Modern day Robinhood snatching souls for jewels
Implanting seeds sprouted using for tools
To continue his raft after coming too
Why do we continue, If it hurts so bad to
Simply because of choices now I have to
