Choices

Corner stone
Something to be set
Is it the provenience?
Once set can we journey
From the path
Or is it our only mission in this life
Does God allow us different journeys?
A turn on a dime 
Or is it all just laid out 
In some project managers mind?
We had to start somewhere
A direction had to be set 
For no ship leaves port without destination
Unless your on a whim
Is that whim yours or just fate
Something you could not escape
Do we have choice or has some 
Scribe below already penciled it in?
We make believe we have choices
But what did we really do
Light a fire and walk away
Into the great Milky Way.

Laura Breidenthal August 5, 2013 at 8:13 PM Thank God for free will. I have similar questions pass through my brain but not exactly in these words. A nice train of thought written down, I'd say. All I know is that everything that we do, it will effect something or someone along the way. What we leave behind in this world, who knows? Someone else may carry it along.
