Choices

If you throw two pennies up in the air
and one lands in the sewer and the other
with care..

If you then throw two people up in the air
and one lands on there feet and the other in despair..

The pennies has no mind or choice to how it lands..
The person has choices and a mind to know how to stand..

In life I have followed greed and I followed lust..
Now I follow peace and love which brings me trust..

Thanks for the heads up :) --the added couplet I think sums this up wonderfully, Michael :) when we choose peace, love and trust-- life seems to make more sense --beautiful message you have here-- btw I hope you don't mind me pointing out in your 3rd couplet, 1st line maybe "pennies have no mind" would work better? hope this helps :) hugs nikko :)
