Who doesn't make them?
Who hasn't made them?
We have to make them
to get to where we're going in life
There are pathways with enough forks
to choose from
Some forks are smooth and devoid of debris
Some are cluttered, bumpy; guaranteeing
a rough ride throughout
And a sizable number of us cannot
instantaneously tell whether they've taken
a rough or a blocked fork
Because the truth is revealed halfway
Oftentimes the choices we make in life
are the ones we intended. However, we
can never escape the bad or difficult ones
Choices are the colors of the rainbow
and we must choose one. If we fail to choose
a color, or a color will choose us
