Choice
I have lived my youth, pleasantly, my young friend,
Successes and failures, I've weighed and blend;
Stance, yet, in my inner heart, was so clear,
Like walking on clean roads, I went with no fear;
God was my nucleus; angels surrounded,
Could such life be ever, by evils, ended?
Each-and-every problem I had challenged,
Betwixt challenges and problems, i had balanced;
Love, used to be, the only path of existence,
This had been my past present and future tense;
Has it, recently, changed, my dear young friend?
Have ideas of caste, color, and creed badly blended?
I feel pain in my interiors of heart,
When I hear that you from your conscience depart;
Values, in world-market, like pearls scattered,
Some are, pebbles within, beautifully shattered;
Thoughts, words, ideas, ideals many,
You're, indeed, master, to choose among these any;
I'd just place before you, dear young brother,
Deals to genocide brotherhood, is hatched here;
Live! Love! Enjoy life! It's given to you by God,
Yet, your mite toward compassion should be your reward...!
