Chocolate Covered Cherries

I do love chocolate covered cherries but if you eat more than two they're so sweet they can make you sick.

Chocolate Covered Cherries How ooey gooey good Oh how I love the sweetness Chocolate never tasted so good Only one is not enough Love them as I do And I await them anxiously Then buy and hoard a few Eaten on the sly Chocolate Covered Cherries Only once a year Venders put them on display Enticing far and near Really never see them Except at Christmas time Don't share the last box Chocolate Covered Cherries Here but for awhile Each confectioner's delight Really makes me smile Rich and smooth so very sweet Inside a hidden cherry Eat them slowly, make them last Special luscious treat

Well you make me interested, although I Am not a 'chocolate lover' I will eat a bar If I need energy would that be three times A year.?? Yet with the sweet cherry it must Be really good Judy.' All the best.!!

I like those as well. They have a small amount of Cherry Cordial in each one. You can freeze them to pull out later when they are not available. Nice work you have done to honor them. Thanks for sharing your talent with us and for dropping by my page. Sara K

Well done for this tasty Acrostic, Judy! I love these chocolate covered cherries (including the alliteration!) and once I eat the first one I'm tempted to run off with the entire box! :) They are easy to get them over here in Malta (especially Mon Cheri Liquor ones) ~ Regards // paul

Oh, Judy! You have hit my soft spot!!! I love chocolate covered cherries at Christmas and at Valentine's Day. You really made me smile when you talked about hiding away a box for the future! Sweet hoarding! We have a wonderful chocolate shop that has these "ooey, gooey" delights all year round. But, somehow, I manage to resist their siren's call during the year. However, Christmas and Valentine's are another story. This is playful, delicious fun! Blessings and Happy Thanksgiving to you!

I used to buy a few boxes and freeze them, then when I was feeling down or lonely or just wanted a special treat, I would pull out a box to thaw. I like your work in this one. It has good flow, rhythm, and rhyme..Keep on writing. Sara K

Yes, they are so popular at Xmas time. I prefer liquor centered chcolates. I had them in Paris and loved them, but can't find them here in utah. i like unsusual fillings. it makes chocolate so interesting.
